At h10s, we believe that your health data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy outlines how h10s (the "App") handles your data. We operate with a "Local First" philosophy.

1. Data Collection & Storage

h10s does not operate any external servers. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal health data, heartbeat data, or any other personal information on our infrastructure.

All data generated by the Polar H10 device (including ECG waveforms, heart rate, and accelerometer data) is processed locally on your Android device.

2. Google Drive Backup (Optional)

The App offers an optional feature to back up your data to your personal Google Drive account. This feature is disabled by default.

• If you enable this feature, the App will request specific permission to access a designated folder in your Google Drive.
• The App uploads your local CSV logs to this folder so you can access them on other devices.
• We (the developer) do not have access to your Google Drive or the files stored within it. The interaction is strictly between your device and Google's servers.

3. App Permissions

We request the following permissions to enable core functionality:

• Bluetooth / Location: Required by the Android OS to scan for and connect to your Polar H10 heart rate monitor. We do not use your location data for any other purpose.
• Storage: Required to save your ECG data logs to your device's internal storage.

4. Third-Party Services

The App communicates directly with your Polar H10 hardware. It does not integrate with third-party analytics SDKs (like Facebook or Google Analytics) that track user behavior.

5. Diagnostic Analytics

We use Google Firebase (Crashlytics & Analytics) to identify stability issues and bugs.

• Opt-In Only: These services are disabled by default. You must explicitly enable them in the App Settings if you wish to help us improve h10s.
• Data Collected: Technical crash logs, device model, and OS version.
• No Health Data: Your ECG, heart rate, and annotations are NEVER sent to Firebase.
