Events & Annotations

h10s allows you to capture specific moments and annotate your live data stream to provide context to your heart rhythm recordings.

Recording Events

An "Event" is a focused recording of your heart data, centered around a specific trigger moment.

How to Trigger

On the main Heart Screen, tap the large Plus (+) Floating Action Button in the bottom right corner.

What Happens

Adding Details

Immediately after triggering the event, the Event Details screen will appear, allowing you to enter information while the recording completes:

Customization: You can define your own rating scales (e.g., "Sleep", "Medication", "Anxiety") in Settings > Events > Configure Attributes.

Instant Reports

For every recorded event, h10s can generate a detailed HTML Report stored locally on your device.

These reports can be accessed from the History tab under Events.

Automatic Annotations

In addition to manual notes, h10s automatically annotates your data stream when it detects changes in your physical activity (e.g., transitioning from Still to Walking). These appear as markers in your history and reports, providing context for heart rate changes without manual input.

Live Annotations

If you don't want to record a full event but want to mark a moment on the live graph, use the Annotation feature.

How to Annotate

Tap the smaller Edit (Pencil) button above the main recording button.

Enter a short text note. This will appear as a yellow marker on the live ECG graph at the current timestamp, helping you correlate visual anomalies with your real-world context.

Continuous Recording

While Events are manually triggered snapshots, h10s also records data continuously in the background whenever a device is connected.

Background Data

These continuous sessions are saved automatically and can be found in the History tab under Checkpoints (or Data).

Managing Recordings

All recorded events and continuous background data can be managed in the History tab.

Deleting Files

To delete a recording:

Restoring Files (Undo)

Immediately after deleting a file, a notification will appear at the bottom of the screen.
