Your data belongs to you. h10s provides full access to your raw recordings in an open, industry-standard format, and offers automated cloud backups to keep it safe.

Cloud Backup

h10s offers automated cloud backups to Google Drive. This ensures your data is safe even if you lose your phone or uninstall the application.

How it works

• Automated: Once authenticated, the application runs a background worker to upload any new files.
• Private: Files are stored in a private folder in your Google Drive (h10s_backup).
• Standard Format: Backups are stored as standard EDF+ files, identical to the manual exports.

Manual Export

Exports are provided in the European Data Format (EDF+), a standard file format designed for exchange and storage of medical time series. It is widely supported by sleep analysis software, ECG viewers, and scientific tools.

What's included?

• Raw ECG: The unfiltered 130Hz signal.
• Accelerometry: 3-axis motion data (X, Y, Z).
• Annotations: All your events, notes, and detected activity changes are embedded directly into the file as time-stamped annotations.
• Metadata: Device information and recording timestamps.

How to Export

You can export any recording from the History screen:

1. Go to the History tab.
2. Find the Event or Checkpoint you wish to export.
3. Tap the Share icon on the card.
4. Wait for the conversion to complete (a notification will appear).
5. Tap the notification to share or save the .edf file.

Viewing the Data

Because EDF+ is a standard format, you can use various free tools to view your data on a computer.

Recommended: EDFbrowser

We recommend EDFbrowser, a free, open-source viewer available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

For Developers

Python users can easily read these files using libraries like pyedflib or mne.
