Trends & Long-term Monitoring

The Trends screen provides a comprehensive 24-hour view of your heart data, allowing you to identify long-term patterns, circadian rhythms, and the burden of irregular beats.

Overview

Data is aggregated into 1-minute buckets. For each minute, the application calculates statistics based on every detected heartbeat.

Heart Rate Trends

The primary graph visualizes your heart rate over the last 24 hours.

• Bars (Range): The vertical bar represents the range between the lowest and highest heart rate recorded during that minute.
• Line (Average): The solid line connects the average heart rate of each minute, showing the overall trend.
• Ticks (Irregularities): Small colored ticks at the bottom of the graph indicate minutes where irregular beats were detected.
  • Coral: Premature Ventricular Contractions (PVCs)
  • Teal: Premature Atrial/Supraventricular Contractions (PACs/SVEs)

RR Interval Trends

The secondary graph displays the variability of your heart rhythm.

• RR Interval: The time in milliseconds between two successive heartbeats. Higher values correspond to a slower heart rate, and lower values to a faster rate.
• Variability: A tall bar indicates high variability (common during rest or irregular rhythms), while a short bar indicates a very steady rhythm (common during exercise or stress).

Burden Statistics

The screen provides a summary of "Burden"—the percentage of your total heartbeats that were classified as irregular.

Metric	Description
PVC Burden	The percentage of beats classified as Ventricular (V). A higher burden may require medical attention.
PAC Burden	The percentage of beats classified as Supraventricular (S).

Note: Burden is calculated as (Count / Total Beats) * 100.

Interaction

The graphs are interactive:

• Tap: Tap anywhere on the graph to select a specific 1-minute interval. The statistics panel will update to show data for that specific minute (e.g., exact Heart Rate range, PVC count for that minute).
• Drag: Drag your finger across the graph to scrub through time.
• Deselect: Tap again to clear the selection and view the 24-hour summary.
