Signal quality in h10s is determined by measuring movement via the device's accelerometer.
The application monitors the 3-axis accelerometer on the Polar H10. High levels of physical movement can introduce "motion artifacts" into the ECG signal, where the shifting of the strap against the skin creates electrical noise that mimics or obscures heartbeats.
The Signal Quality indicator will drop if significant movement is detected.
